Guns N Roses to headline 2018 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concert
Yas Marina Circuit and FLASH Entertainment have announced that American hard rockers Guns N’ Roses will top the bill at this year’s Yasalam After-Race Concert as part of the FORMULA 1 2018 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX weekend.
A band beloved of petrolheads from Scandinavia to South Island New Zealand, they’re certain to please the crowds of race-goers bound for the UAE from over 170 countries to attend the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Guns N’ Roses are legendary performers who consistently play to packed out stadiums, as a result they have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, therefore fans heading for the du Arena on Yas Island can anticipate a blitz of a show, from these much admired rock musicians.
Rock fans in Abu Dhabi can expect original band members from the 1980s: Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan to reprise the Guns N’ Roses back catalogue of hits including ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’ and ‘Paradise City’ as well as playing fresh material. There are strong rumours doing the rounds, that they’re making a new album.
